It depends on how you cook.

If you regularly use a wok on high heat and want to place hot pots directly on the surface, sintered stone (like Dekton) is the best choice. It can withstand temperatures above 300°C without any damage.

For most families who cook daily but use trivets for hot items, quartz stone offers the best balance of stain resistance, easy maintenance, and affordability. It handles turmeric, sambal, and soy sauce stains well because it's non-porous.

If you want a showpiece kitchen island with unique natural veining, quartzite is extremely hard and heat-resistant, but it requires annual sealing to protect against staining.

Quartz stone is an engineered surface made from ~93% natural quartz bound with resin. It's non-porous, low-maintenance, and comes in a wide range of consistent colours and patterns. However, the resin makes it sensitive to extreme heat and UV exposure, so it's best for indoor use.

Sintered stone is made by fusing natural minerals at extreme temperatures (~1,200°C), creating a surface with zero resin. This makes it highly resistant to heat, UV, scratches, and chemicals. It's suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Feature Quartz Stone Sintered Stone
Heat resistance Up to ~150°C 300°C+ (direct)
UV safe (outdoor) No Yes
Maintenance Soap & water Minimal
Price range From RM 110 /sqft From RM 110 /sqft

Sintered stone — yes. Dekton and other sintered surfaces can take direct heat from woks, hot pans, and even naked flames without scorching, cracking, or discolouring.

Quartz stone — not recommended. While quartz is heat-resistant to a degree, placing a wok straight from the stove may cause thermal shock and leave a permanent mark. Always use a trivet or heat mat.

Quartzite — use a trivet to be safe. Quartzite handles heat better than quartz but can experience thermal shock on some varieties. We recommend a trivet as standard practice.

Quartz stone is NOT suitable for outdoor use. The resin binder in quartz degrades under UV exposure, causing yellowing and discolouring over time. Malaysia's tropical sun makes this an even bigger concern.

Sintered stone is excellent outdoors. It's 100% UV-stable, waterproof, and won't fade or degrade in Malaysia's heat, rain, or humidity. It's a strong choice for outdoor kitchens, BBQ areas, balconies, and pool decking.

Quartzite is also UV-safe as a natural stone, but requires sealing to protect against moisture and algae growth in humid conditions.

We supply trusted brands including Dekton (by Cosentino), Caesarstone, Zenstone, Silestone, Moonstone, and other premium manufacturers.

Each brand has different price points, and we will help you choose based on your budget.

Every slab we supply comes with authentication and is backed by the manufacturer's warranty, up to 25 years depending on the brand.

There are counterfeit and low-grade quartz products in the market.

How do I know if I’m getting genuine Caesarstone or Dekton? Genuine slabs have a unique identification number and branding printed on the back. We also register your warranty directly with the manufacturer using this slab number.

This confuses everyone, but they are completely different materials:

  • Quartz (engineered): Man-made, consistent patterns, non-porous, and never needs sealing. Great for low maintenance.
  • Quartzite (natural): 100% natural stone. Unique patterns (every slab is different) and heat resistant, but porous so it requires periodic sealing.

Yes, absolutely. Both quartz and sintered stone are certified food-safe and non-toxic.

The surfaces are non-porous, meaning bacteria cannot penetrate, making them more hygienic than wood or laminate.

  • Quartz: Made from natural quartz crystals bonded with food-safe resins. Meets international food safety standards.
  • Sintered stone: Made from natural minerals fused at extreme heat. No resins or chemicals. Food-safe and commonly used in commercial kitchens.

You can safely knead dough, prepare raw meat, or roll pastry directly on these surfaces.

With proper care, your stone countertop can last 20–30 years or more, often outlasting the kitchen cabinets themselves.

  • Quartz: 10–25+ years. No fading if kept away from direct sunlight.
  • Sintered stone: 25+ years. Extremely durable with no degradation from UV, heat, or chemicals.
  • Natural stone: Generations with proper sealing and maintenance.

This is why many homeowners consider stone countertops an investment, not an expense.

Yes. Real estate agents in Malaysia often report that kitchens heavily influence buyer decisions.

A quality stone countertop signals a well-maintained, modern home and can:

  • Increase perceived property value by 5–10% in the Klang Valley market
  • Help your property stand out in listings and viewings
  • Appeal to buyers who want a move-in ready home without renovation hassle

If you're renovating before selling, a stone countertop upgrade can offer a strong return compared to many other home improvements.

Yes, but material choice is critical.

  • Outdoor BBQ or outdoor kitchen: Use sintered stone only. It's UV-proof, heat-proof, and won't discolour or grow algae. Quartz and marble will degrade outdoors.
  • Wet kitchen: Sintered stone or quartz both work well. Avoid polished marble (slippery when wet) unless you choose a honed finish.

We've completed many outdoor kitchen projects across Klang Valley. Ask us for examples.

Yes. This is a popular way to create a grand entrance.

For exterior applications:

  • Recommended: Sintered stone (for example, Dekton). UV-stable, weather-resistant, and won't fade, crack, or grow algae even after years of Malaysian sun and rain.
  • Not recommended: Quartz (UV damage), marble (staining and algae), limestone (erosion).

We use mechanical fixings plus industrial adhesive for exterior installations to ensure the stone stays secure.

Absolutely. We encourage every customer to visit our showroom before making a decision.

Photos and samples can only tell you so much. Seeing the full slab in person lets you appreciate the colour, veining, and texture at actual scale.

Our showroom is located in Klang Valley.

No appointment needed, but if you'd like a guided consultation, WhatsApp us ahead and we'll have someone ready for you.

Yes. We understand that lighting is crucial.

We can bring 6–8 samples to your home so you can see how the colours look in your kitchen's lighting.

There is an RM100 refundable deposit (returned when you return the samples), and you can keep them for up to 1 week to decide.

Pricing varies based on material, slab thickness, edge profile, and the complexity of cut-outs (sink, hob, etc.).

For a rough guide, you can refer to the Catalogue.

Our quotation includes the slab, fabrication, and installation. The best way to get an accurate price is to WhatsApp us with your kitchen measurements or visit our showroom.

Our quotation is fully itemised and transparent. It typically includes:

  • Slab material (your chosen brand and colour)
  • Fabrication (cutting and edge profiling, polishing)
  • Delivery to your home
  • Professional installation by our in-house team

Sink and hob cut-outs are not included in the supply and install price, and will be listed as a separate line item in the quotation.

We'll also specify any exclusions upfront, such as dismantling of your old countertop, plumbing reconnection, or special edge treatments, so there are no surprises.

Yes. We provide free consultations at our showroom where you can see and touch actual slab samples.

If you're ready to proceed, we'll arrange a home visit to take precise measurements at no extra charge.

If you already have kitchen measurements from your contractor or interior designer, WhatsApp them to us and we can prepare a preliminary quote within 24 hours.

Not all quartz is created equal. The price difference comes down to three things:

  • Raw material quality: Premium brands use higher-purity natural quartz (93%+), resulting in better scratch and stain resistance. Budget brands may use lower-grade materials.
  • Manufacturing technology: Brands like Caesarstone and Silestone use proprietary processes that produce more consistent colour, pattern, and durability. Generic brands may have variation between batches.
  • Warranty and certification: Authentic branded quartz comes with factory-backed warranties up to 25 years. Cheaper alternatives often offer limited or no warranty, and may not be NSF or Greenguard certified.

We carry a range of price points to suit different budgets. Visit our showroom to compare them side by side.

Prices vary based on the stone brand (for example, Zenstone vs Dekton) and the installation complexity.

Generally, prices start from RM80+ per square foot for supply and install.

Contact us for a free rough estimate based on your wall size.

Yes. We do supply stone slabs for customers who have their own contractors.

However, we highly recommend our installation service. Improper installation can compromise safety and may void warranties.

Yes. No project is too small for us.

However, for projects below a certain size (for example, under 10, 20, or 30 sqft depending on the stone), a minimum order charge applies to cover logistics, fabrication, and installation costs.

  • Before templating: You can change your mind freely about material or colour. No charges.
  • After templating: We have already ordered your specific slab. Changing material or colour at this stage may incur restocking fees. However, minor changes to edge profiles or cutouts are usually free.

Typically 7–14 working days from confirmed order to completed installation. Here's the breakdown:

  • Day 1–2: Site measurement at your home
  • Day 3–9: Fabrication (CNC cutting, edge profiling, polishing)
  • Day 10–14: Delivery and installation, usually completed in a single day

Timeline may vary if you're selecting a colour or slab that needs to be imported, or if your renovation schedule requires us to coordinate with other trades. We'll confirm the exact timeline in your quotation.

Yes, absolutely. Countertop replacement is one of the most common and cost-effective kitchen upgrades. We remove your old countertop and install the new one on your existing cabinetry.

We'll assess your cabinets during the site measurement to ensure they're structurally sound and level enough to support the new stone. If minor adjustments are needed (shimming, levelling), our team handles that during installation.

It's one of the fastest ways to transform your kitchen without a full renovation.

Our primary installation team covers the entire Klang Valley and Selangor area, including Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Damansara, Cheras, Ampang, Bangsar, Mont Kiara, and surrounding areas.

We do accept outstation projects (for example, Seremban, Ipoh, and Penang), but these will incur additional logistics and transportation charges. Please contact us for a specific quote based on your location.

We recommend being present (or having someone represent you) at the start and end of the installation for handover and inspection.

The installation itself typically takes half a day to one full day depending on kitchen complexity.

Our team will do a final walkthrough with you to check alignment, seams, and finish before we consider the job complete.

Before. Your base cabinets must be fully installed, levelled, and permanently fixed in place before we come for site measurement (templating).

If the cabinets move even a few millimetres after we measure, the stone will not fit.

Yes. We can provide a hacking and disposal service for your old countertop.

This is an additional service and is not included in the standard installation quote. Please let us know during the quotation stage so we can include the cost for the hacking work and lorry disposal.

Yes. Most management bodies require a renovation permit and a refundable deposit before they allow contractors to enter.

  • Your responsibility: Apply for the permit and pay the deposit to your Management Office.
  • Our responsibility: Provide company and worker details for registration.

Generally, we supply the stone surfacing only.

You will need to purchase your own sink, tap, and hob.

Important: Please have these items on-site during our measurement visit so we can ensure the cut-outs are perfectly sized.

Our team specialises in stone fabrication.

We will mount the sink to the countertop, but we do not perform plumbing or electrical connections.

Please arrange for a professional plumber or electrician to connect the waste and water pipes, and hob wiring, 24 hours after installation to allow adhesives to cure.

Yes. We can drill extra holes for accessories.

Important: Please have the actual accessory (or the technical template) on-site during our measurement visit.

If we do not know the exact size before we cut the stone at the factory, we cannot do it later.

We do most cutting at our factory to minimise mess.

However, minor trimming or sanding may be required on-site to get a perfect fit. This can create fine dust.

We recommend covering any open food, cutlery, and nearby furniture with plastic sheets before we arrive.

Stone slabs come in standard sizes (typically around 10 feet). If your counter is longer than this, or L-shaped, we likely need a seam.

  • Note for condo owners: Even if your counter is short, we may need a seam if the slab cannot fit inside your service lift.
  • Visibility: On solid colours, seams are usually very discreet. On veined patterns, they are more noticeable, but we use colour-matched adhesives to keep seams as fine as possible.

Here's a simple checklist to ensure a smooth installation.

Must do:

  • Clear all items from existing countertops and cabinets below
  • Ensure your sink, tap, and hob are on-site (we need these during measurement)
  • Apply for condo or apartment renovation permit (if applicable)
  • Ensure clear access from parking to your kitchen. For condo owners, please confirm lift and corridor dimensions.

Recommended:

  • Cover nearby furniture and open shelving with plastic sheets
  • Inform neighbours about potential noise
  • Arrange for a plumber to visit 24–48 hours after installation for pipe connections
  • Keep pets and children away from the work area

We'll share a detailed preparation guide after order confirmation.

If any damage occurs during fabrication, transport, or installation due to our handling, we will:

  • Replace the damaged piece at no cost
  • Inform you if the timeline needs to extend by a few days for refabrication

You will never pay for damage caused by our side.

Yes. We are a supply, fabricate, and install company. That means you deal with one team from start to finish.

Our in-house team handles slab selection, precision CNC fabrication, delivery, and professional installation. One point of contact, one warranty, one team accountable for the final result.

We specialise exclusively in stone fabrication and installation.

We do not build kitchen cabinets.

For cabinet works, you will need to find your own carpenter or cabinet contractor.

This depends on your stone type:

  • Quartz and sintered stone: Non-porous surfaces. Turmeric, sambal, and curry will not permanently stain if wiped within a few hours. For dried spills, a paste of baking soda and water can help remove discolouration.
  • Natural stone (marble, quartzite): Porous surfaces. These can stain if spills are not cleaned immediately. We recommend sealing every 6–12 months if you cook frequently with turmeric-based dishes.

Tip: If you love cooking with strong spices but want low worry maintenance, sintered stone or quartz is a safer choice.

Quartz is one of the easiest surfaces to maintain. For daily cleaning, simply wipe with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild dish soap.

For stubborn spots (dried sambal, turmeric, coffee rings), apply a non-abrasive cream cleaner and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping.

Avoid bleach, harsh acids, and scouring pads.

Quartz does not require sealing, polishing, or any routine maintenance.

Yes. Quartzite is a natural stone with some porosity, so it needs to be sealed to prevent staining.

We recommend sealing once a year, or more frequently for surfaces that get heavy daily use. The sealing process takes about 30 minutes and can be done yourself with a stone impregnator, or we can arrange it for you.

A simple water test tells you when it's time to re-seal: drop water on the surface. If it absorbs within a few minutes instead of beading up, it's time.

Regardless of material, here are the universal don'ts:

  • Don't cut directly on the surface. Always use a chopping board. Stone won't get damaged, but your knives will dull faster and micro-scratches can accumulate over time.
  • Don't use harsh chemicals. Avoid bleach, oven cleaner, and highly acidic or alkaline cleaners. These can damage the surface finish on quartz and etch natural stone.
  • Don't drag heavy objects across the surface. Lift pots, appliances, and mortar and pestle sets to prevent scratching, especially on polished finishes.

For quartz specifically, avoid prolonged heat contact. Always use a trivet for hot pots and pans.

Warranty depends on the material and brand.

For the latest warranty coverage by brand, you can refer to the catalogue.

All warranties are factory-backed by the manufacturer. We also provide a workmanship guarantee covering our fabrication and installation.
